Ice Ice Baby

Got lots of ice today. Power was on and off all day. Took a few pix. I would also like to add that i almost fell on my arse. Yes almost. Supposed to be snow in the morning. Guess only time will tell.


So i've been craving something made with a cake mix, but not a cake. Does that make any sense? Yeah, probably not. I am the confusing queen. You looking for some confusion come talk to me. Well anyways....I throw together some crap. First layer of my concoction is the cake mix mixed with a stick of butter. Pressed that into a 9x13 pan. Then i added carmel squares spaced apart on top. Next i melted some chocolate and mixed that with some condensed milk. Baked for about 25 min and had some kind of gooey crap. It was OK, but didn't satisfy that hunger i had. Just wasn't what i was looking for. Maybe tomorrow i can get what i want?!?!!?!? If i get my fix tomorrow i'll be sure to blog about it tomorrow evening.

All i hear right now is water. That is what i have heard all day. Where we are having some work done to the house it had started leaking inside one of the closets. Floor was soaked. I, yeah me, managed to get it fixed for now. Only had ice cold water running down my arms into my jacket, but hey i got it. Just call me MacGyver. Cause it is rigged with an old cookie sheet i no longer used and an old shingle. Oh and to reach it i had to use a folding step stool and then stacked another one on top that the kids use in the bathroom. Lucky i didn't fall and break my neck.

Now to the good stuff. Who will be cheering for the Steelers??? I have a photo on my desk that i dug out from under my bed from when i was a cheerleader for our Jr Pro team. And can you guess the name of the team....Yeah that's right the Steelers of course. If they win i will post this most horrible picture of me from back in the day. And does anyone else think that Hawaiian looks like Vegeta????? ;) Well not maybe so much, but sure makes me think of him.

Ok so i'm turning over a new leaf and will no longer be *KICKing* anymore.

OK guys i have been exercising. Yeah i don't do well with staying on it. But so far so good. Why is that i eat more when i exercise? It's just canceling each other out IMO. I'm so hungry right now. SOOO FREAKIN' hungry. Don't think i'm not going to go get a snack to eat on when i get done with this.

To Work or Not to Work

I have so many things to do i don't know where to start. I just sit here staring at my screen..... My throat feels a little funky today and i did not sleep well. Was wide awake early this morning. And by early i mean like 5ish.

But was told of how to handle a situation like that. Rapid rewarming method - strip down nekkid with someone else and crawl into a sleeping bag. Now how much fun would that be. Well maybe not too much fun, because i was hurting. Any volunteers? psst....link doesn't say anything about a partner. but this one does - Severe hypothermia

Why????????? to cook grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids lunch(one took a hot cheese and ham). Love i tell ya, love. Cause i LOVE my sleep. everything is still blurry. my eyes quite haven't adjusted yet. And my belly feels hungry too. i don't usually eat breakfast until 10am.

Do not buy anything from this place Perfume Worldwide . I'm still waiting on my refund. Called to cancel order with no email. Hmmmmm I tell ya.

Ya know when i started writing this it was early. Boy i'm slow. Easily distracted i tell ya. Don't they have medicine for that. Think they give the same to adults??? HEHE

Poor Taste in Movies

My husband seems to have the worst choice in movies. This weekend we have watched 7 Pounds and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. These two movies = *YAWN* Next movie i get to pick.

Went skating yesterday and i am soooo sore. We've been going for awhile and their music it getting played out. I'm seriously thinking about DL some music to take with me next time for them to upload from me.
